Description
Silicone 2.5mm 3 Core Black Heat Resistant Cable
A cable comprised of conductors insulated in silicone rubber for use where a temperature resistance is required e.g. in steel, hot laminating or casting works, heating and lighting fixtures, in cement factories, ship and aircraft building, glass and ceramic production lines and electric motors.
SIHF high temperature silicone cable
Conductors: Flexible tinned annealed copper
Insulation: SIF (Silicone rubber)
Conductor identification: 3 core: brown, blue & green/yellow
Sheath/Jacket: SIF (silicon rubber)
Voltage: 300/500V
Operating temperature: Maximum 180°C. minimum -60°C
Standards: VDE0295: Conductors of cables, wires and flexible cords for power installations, flame test IEC 60332-1-2
Applications: suitable where heat or the interaction of extremely high and low temperatures rapidly causes cable insulation to become brittle and inflexible. Used in a wide range of industrial sectors, including foundries, ship and aircraft construction, bakery machinery, solaria etc
