Description
RF Venue OPTIX2-S3 RF Over Fiber System
OPTIX Series 3 Dual Channel
The OPTIX Series 3 by RF Venue uses the power of light to allow you to position RF antennas up to several miles away from the receivers. By converting RF energy into light, you can ditch the traditional coaxial cables and locate your antennas and wireless equipment with much greater flexibility. In addition, your wireless microphones will not lose signal with OPTIX Series 3.
Remote placement of antennas now available over long distances with no signal loss.
Longer Coax runs require thicker, unwieldy, more expensive cables
With virtually no signal loss over fiber, longer runs are now available and many locations already have fiber runs in place.
Say Goodbye to Coax Cables with OPTIX Series 3
The OPTIX Series 3 is a high-performance RF over fiber optic (RFoF) conversion system designed to facilitate the remote placement of wireless audio antennas over long distances. RF Venue’s OPTIX Series 3 Transmitter module converts the RF signals from an antenna into a single-mode optical signal. This sends that signal down a fiber-optic cable to the OPTIX Receiver, where the source signal is converted back into RF.
The OPTIX system extends the range of antenna placement up to several miles apart, as well as between floors in buildings. This means you can ditch the bulky coax cables without losing any RF signal to your wireless microphones.
OPTIX Series 3 is perfect for live production and installed sound systems. It features extensive configurable controls to help the user manage signal level, apply DC power for active antennas or amplifiers, and even directly monitor outputs to dial in a performance. In addition, OPTIX Series 3 is compatible with any brand of wireless audio system and can be used across VHF, UHF, and the 900 MHz bands.
