Description
ALTAIR IPF-316 IPCom Base Station
This user panel allows easy control over 32 channels on two pages (16 channels each).
A command unit that grants easy communication to a high number of destinations, no matter if these are private calls, partyline teams, generation of cue-light signals, GPIO activation or others.
This user panel is the main piece og gear in the IPCom family and has been designed to ease communications at broadcast facilities, sport arenas, big opera houses, houses of worship and other permanent installations.
IPCom Series can also, however, be used at live music festival, for instance, making a great solution for multi-stage communication for coordination of large teams.
Equipped with an internal switch and LAN, the IPCom system bypasses the requirement for a physical intercom matrix. Supporting up to 128 groups and users, the IPCom allows private calls, priority assignment for varying levels of team responsibility, the management of GPIO-based actions via its IPF-316 panel and the generation of cue light signals received by beltpacks and panels.
Altair’s technical sales and business development manager, Fran Herreria commented: “For years we’ve worked on small- to medium-size venues, music festivals, TV studios, sometimes also in large opera houses, but always offering wired or wireless partyline systems. Taking a step forward meant Altair had to enter the market of matrix-type intercom systems. After years of development, we’ve released a system that is both flexible and easy to use, at a price that will make this technology affordable to everyone.”
The IPF-316 can control 32 channels (16 keys, two pages) and the IPB-306 beltpack provides six channels, for which the built-in mic and speaker allows it to operate as a remote station. Equipped with an IPX-301 4W/2W interface, the IPCom is compatible with all Altair’s current intercom systems. With TV studios in mind, one wireless partyline system can be injected into an IPCom network.
